  • Roma and Inter's chances boosted as club finally willing to sell defensive talent

Gianluca Mancini featuring for Atalanta in Serie A against Inter Milan

Serie A team Atalanta are finally willing to sell their key defensive member Gianluca Mancini to the suitors this summer, according to reports from Calciomercato.

Serie A giants AS Roma and Inter Milan have been linked with the talented defender but are unlikely to make a transfer move this month.

Mancini, 22, is valued at around 25 million Euros by the Bergamo club but they are only looking for clubs who want to make a permanent move for him.

Monchi and Roma are unlikely to sign any player on a permanent basis this January but such manoeuvre could possibly happen in the summer.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are still interested in the player but do not see him as a priority. I Nerazzurri are currently more focused on sorting out the contract deals of two of their most important players, Mauro Icardi and Milan Skriniar.

Gianluca Mancini has actually also attracted interests from outside Italy with Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, and Everton all keeping tabs on the former Fiorentina youth player.

Gianluca Mancini has been in a strong form this season as he played 18 games this season for Atalanta, scoring an impressive 6 goals and providing a single assist. Quite outstanding for a centre-back.
