Former Liverpool Brazilian attacking midfielder has been the subject of some rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United for some time now.
The 26-year-old technician made a move to Spanish giants FC Barcelona in last season’s winter transfer window, but has been criticized for his average performances and has subsequently fallen down the pecking order at the Catalan club.
While the rumours might sound a bit sensational and perhaps too good to be true, Coutinho might have no intention of leaving Barca anyway. At least not for the time being and especially not to bitter rivals Manchester United, via The Daily Mirror.
The clues could be found in his old interviews before he signed for Barcelona last year where he stated that playing for Barcelona would be a dream come true on many occasions.
Philippe Coutinho has appeared in 26 games across all competitions for Barca this season, forcing in 6 goals and creating 5 more.
We believe that at the time being the Brazil international would not give up fighting and stay put at Camp Nou to keep working hard in the bid of earning his place back at the team.
