  • Chelsea striker could go to AS Monaco instead of Everton

Michy Batshuayi is on the verge of a transfer move but where will he end up?

Chelsea's Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi could end up moving to AS Monaco on loan amid interest from Everton.

Everton are looking to secure the 25-year-old striker signing on loan with an option to buy from Chelsea but the move may not be possible due to Premier League's regulations.

According to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, Batshuayi prefers Monaco loan move instead of Everton. The Belgium international will work under former Belgium assistant manager and current AS Monaco manager Thierry Henry at Stade Louis II.

But the Toffees are still persistent to bring 'Batsman' in. They are prepared to take their pursuit to the next level.

Latest reports said that Everton have submitted a bid around €30millionBut those figures are still way beyond Chelsea's asking price of €45million.

Michy Batshuayi was quite successful when he went on loan to Borussia Dortmund in the 2017/18 season, but is currently far from what is expected of him at Valencia.

Valencia are glad to terminate his loan, but Chelsea will need to find a suitable deal for the Belgium man. His future remains uncertain at this point.
