Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez is only a tiny step away from joining Premier League side Arsenal on a loan move which could potentially turn into a permanent one, as reported by The Mirror.
It has been revealed that the Gunners are willing to pay as much as £1.7million to complete the loan deal for the midfield schemer this month.
Arsenal are also prepared to pay an additional £17.5million to make the move permanent.
Unai Emery has been looking for someone to boost up the creativity in his midfield and has identified the Spaniard as the ideal candidate for the place.
The 25-year-old creative man also wants to join Arsenal this January, but Barcelona aren't willing to let go of him that easily with the Catalan club demanding a permanent transfer instead of a loan. But it seemed like both parties have agreed on the latest term and a loan transfer may materialise very soon.
Denis Suarez rarely featured for Barca this season with only 8 games to his name where he managed to force in two goals and provide a single assist.
Suarez, 25, may well be a perfect feature for Unai Emery's side, but his arrival at Emirates Stadium will put a big question mark over Mesut Ozil's future.
