  • Exciting winger rejects contract to force a move to Bayern Munich

Callum Hudson-Odoi playing for Chelsea in the English Premier League

Bayern Munich are edging closer and closer and now are just a tiny step away from finally securing the signing of exciting young winger Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea.

The 18-year-old jet-heeled winger has been on the radar of Bayern Munich for some time and the Bavarian club are looking to bring him to strengthen an already powerful squad.

Hudson-Odoi has also been tracked by Bayern rivals, Borussia Dortmund, with the Black and Yellows looking for another hot prospect to replace Chelsea-bound Christian Pulisic. A player swap + transfer fee deal could have materialised but Chelsea only wanted to pay.

But so far, Bayern Munich seem to be the only party who are extremely interested in buying the player and have reportedly made several bids for the player but ended in vain. The latest bid is reported to be around £35m which actually met Chelsea's valuation of the player.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have offered the young starlet a ludicrous raise with an £85,000-a-week contract on the table to keep him at Stamford Bridge, but Hudson-Odoi seems to be quite persistent on moving away with the player himself reportedly very keen to join the German champions, according to Sky Sports.

Bayern Munich are also linked with a move for Manchester City's promising winger, Rabbi Matondo.
